Dog is Dag, Lexie's pup. He was given the name Dag in memory of Dag Hammarskjöld, United Nations General Secretary who was kiklled in a plane crash in September of 1961 just before Dag's birth. I am sure the family feels honored. Dag was a wonderful dog providing company to my parents for several years. And he knew the sound of my car. Everytime I came back from college, which was not often, he would start barking as soon as I turned of highway 83 which is 5 blocks from our house. Dag had lots of personality.
