Vacation Winter 2014
Took a little trip to Yellowstone National Park and very scenic Moab Utah. Spent around ten days in the Yellowstone area including six days in the heart of the park at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge. The weather was good, actually too good. I wanted a big snow and it didn't happen. But beautiful blue skies and moonlight nights throughout. Took several of the offered Yellowstone tours and many pictures. Then went to Moab and visited Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. I also took several scenic drives in the Moab area. I was hoping for some snow to highlight the landscape but it was not to be. The weather was cold throughout but I took way more winter cloths than I happened to need.
