Mayfly metamorphosis
I was working from home when I noticed an insect on my window. At first I didn't give it much thought then I realized that something was happening with that insect. I gave it a close look, realized what was happening and grabbed my camera and started shooting. I felt blessed to be a witness to this little drama of life. I found it touching. The mayfly was metamorphing from to a spinner. ( subimago to imago technically) This litle drama plays out billions of times every day over the spring summer and fall.
