Located in Sego Canyon north of Thompson Springs Utah, this rock art site hosts examples of Barrier Canyon, Fremont and Ute rock art. Each rock art style or tradition more or less occupies its' own section of the canyon walls. Most of the rock art is on the walls of a narrow section of the canyon where the western wall protudes into the canyon forcing all traffic and the stream to move around it. Rock art is primarily on the western wall but there are some interesting images on the eastern wall as well. The images on the eastern wall are mostly in what used to be a corral. Due to the twist in the canyon a corral could be created here easily with a short section of fence or logs. The first time I visited this site the remains of the corral were still present.
