Kirwin Wyoming - A gold mining ghost town
Kirwin is an abandonded gold mining town on the Wood River. It is about 35 miles out of Meeteetse Wyoming. Getting there is one of the most beautiful drives I have ever been on. The day was perfect. Air was clear and crisp. The drive up the Wood River included several at grade crossings of the river. The ghost town has been conserved and is in pretty good condition.
