Every Fall and Winter many East coast eagles migrate to Conowingo Dam on the Susquehanna River. I go there from time to time to take pictures. Had a particuliarly sunny day forcast so I went up. About a two hour drive. The way these pictures are setup is that they are in time sequence. You see the eagle swoop in, catch the fish and fly away. Pictures were taken with either a Canon 5D Mark III or Canon 5D Mark IV camera using either a 500mm F4 lens or a 600mm F4 lens. As you can see the eagles rarely miss. Most get their fish. On the first attempt.
